The Chase Arena witnessed a gripping battle between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, with the Lakers eventually emerging victorious 117-112. It wasn’t just LeBron James who made a difference, as he scored 22 points and 11 rebounds. The true heroes of the night were Anthony Davis, who was unstoppable with 30 points, and Dennis Schroder, who added 19 points from the bench to D’Angelo Russell’s 23.
Despite the loss, Golden State had some impressive performances with Steph Curry’s 27 points and Klay Thompson’s 25. Kevin Looney’s 23 rebounds and Jordan Poole’s 21 points off the bench also kept the game tight. Poole even had a chance to tie the game with a long-range shot with 9 seconds left, but it missed the mark. This was a missed opportunity for the Warriors as they had a 14-0 run with some Curry magic to get back in the game, but ultimately fell short.
