Jalen Brunson leads the New York Knicks to a 111-105 victory over the Miami Heat, tying the series at 1-1. The Heat were without Jimmy Butler due to an injury sustained in game-1. Brunson finished the game with 30 points, while Julius Randle added 25 points and 12 rebounds, and RJ Barrett scored 24 points.

Josh Hart also had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Knicks, while Caleb Martin and Gabe Vincent had 22 and 21 points respectively for the Heat. However, the efforts of Martin and Vincent were not enough, as Max Strus’ 17 points and Bam Adebayo’s 15 points also fell short.

It was a very balanced game, with both teams playing well. The Heat missed the contribution of Kyle Lowry and Kevin Love, while the Knicks found comfort in Randle’s performance, especially in a last quarter where they scored 35 points. The win gives the Knicks a much-needed boost as they head back to New York for game-3.
