The Denver Nuggets have taken a commanding 2-0 lead in their playoff series against the Phoenix Suns after a stunning comeback victory in Game 2. After leading for the first three quarters, the Suns let the Nuggets storm back in the fourth quarter, outscoring them 27-14 in the final period.

Nikola Jokic was the star of the show for Denver, dominating the game with 39 points (26 in the second half) and 16 assists. He finished with an impressive shooting percentage of 17/30, including five assists. Jokic raised his level of play after the Nuggets were down by 7 points at the beginning of the third quarter and led the comeback, with help from Aaron Gordon (16 points) and Caldwell-Pope (14 points).

In contrast, Jamal Murray had a quiet night, finishing with only 10 points. Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton put up good numbers for the Suns, scoring 35 and 24 points, respectively, but there was a significant void behind them, with no other player in double figures. Phoenix shot just 40% from the field and a dismal 19.4% from beyond the arc.

To add insult to injury, the Suns lost Chris Paul to a groin problem in the third quarter. The defeat is a bitter pill for Phoenix to swallow, and they will need to regroup quickly if they want to avoid a series sweep.
