Super Jokic Is Not Enough, The Suns Tie the Series!

In Arizona, the Phoenix Suns and the Denver Nuggets are tied at 2-2 in their series after the Suns claimed a 129-124 victory in Game 4. Despite Nikola Jokic’s 53-point performance, the Nuggets were unable to secure a crucial win on the road. Devin Booker and Kevin Durant led the way for the Suns with 36 points each, along with 12 assists for Booker and 11 rebounds for Durant.

Phoenix got off to a strong start, building a one-possession lead of 63-61 before extending their lead to 116-106 in the second half. Jokic was the only player on Denver’s side to keep pace, scoring 28 points, while Jamal Murray scored 11 points and Aaron Gordon, Michael Porter Jr., and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope all finished with 10 or 11 points. Landry Shamet scored 19 points for the Suns.

The series now heads back to Colorado for Game 5, with both teams fighting for the first match point. Regardless of the outcome, there will be at least one more game at the Footprint Center.
