An Unstoppable Curry Takes The Warriors To The Semifinals! Now The Lakers!
The Golden State Warriors have secured their spot in the Western Conference semifinals after a commanding 120-100 victory over the Sacramento Kings in Game 7. The win was powered by the unstoppable Steph Curry, who put up a phenomenal performance with 50 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Curry’s seven triples and 20/38 shooting from the field proved to be the key to securing the victory.
The Warriors were initially behind at halftime, trailing by two points at 58-56. However, they staged a stunning comeback in the second half, outscoring the Kings 64-42. Curry received crucial support from Andrew Wiggins, who contributed 17 points, and Klay Thompson, who added 16 points to the Warriors’ total. Additionally, Kevon Looney was a force under the basket, tallying a double-double of 11 points and 21 rebounds.
Despite the Kings’ best efforts, they were ultimately unable to overcome the Warriors’ firepower. Domantas Sabonis was the highest scorer for the Kings with 22 points, including 10/16 from the arc, while De’Aaron Fox added 16 points. Anthony Davis, Malik Monk, and Dejounte Murray also contributed with 15, 15, and 10 points respectively.
The Warriors will now face the Los Angeles Lakers in the Conference semifinals, setting up a thrilling matchup against LeBron James. For the Kings, the playoff run may have come to an end, but their season has been a remarkable one, having made the playoffs for the first time since 2006. They can certainly hold their heads high and look forward to building on their achievements in the coming seasons.
