However, the Lakers rallied and fought back, eventually taking a commanding third-quarter lead. The Warriors attempted a comeback but fell short due to poor shooting and defensive mistakes.

The Warriors’ performance was especially disappointing, with only Curry scoring 32 points at his usual level. Klay Thompson struggled, shooting 3/19, while Wiggins only scored six points. Draymond Green finished with nine points.

The Lakers, on the other hand, had a strong performance, with James leading the way with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists for a triple-double. Other standout performances came from Anthony Davis (25 points) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (15 points).
